Each year, our team proudly takes part in our own version of the Walk All Over Cancer challenge for Cancer Research UK, coming together to raise vital funds and awareness for life-saving research.
Throughout March, we commit to getting moving every day, whether that’s a lunchtime walk, a weekend hike, or simply taking extra steps during the working day. As a team, we set ourselves an ambitious collective distance target, pushing each other to go further, all while supporting an incredible cause.
Our goal is simple: walk as many miles as possible throughout March while raising funds to support cancer research. We try to aim for 1,500 miles between us, but secretly hope to exceed this!
As a company based in Sheffield, we’re lucky to have access to a wide range of walking routes. From city-centre strolls and local parks to the stunning landscapes of the nearby Peak District, our team makes the most of every opportunity to get outside and stay active.
You might also spot members of our wider team on the move across the UK, whether that’s out in the field or finding creative ways to build steps into their daily routines.
Working within the healthcare sector, we see first-hand the importance of innovation, research, and patient care. Supporting Cancer Research UK is a cause that resonates deeply with our team, personally and professionally. Taking part in Walk All Over Cancer allows us to contribute in a meaningful way, whilst combining teamwork, wellbeing, and fundraising.
We’re proud to take part in Walk All Over Cancer as a company every year. Here’s how our team has made a difference so far:
Highlights from this year’s challenge included early morning running from the Virtual Sales Team, lunchtime strolls and even a bit of sunshine! We think we’ll have to increase the mileage target next year!
In 2025, our team took on the challenge across Sheffield and beyond, walking through local parks, the Peak District, and even hospital corridors to hit our ambitious mileage goal!
Our Walk All Over Cancer annual challenge is a big part of our calendar of charitable events that we run through The Collective - our charity, community and volunteering hub. See what else is coming up by visiting The Collective.
