Our Ethos

It’s Interventional are big fans of our planet and want to do everything we can to look after it. We are proud to be ISO14001 accredited which means that our environmental activities are audited and our objectives help us keep us on track.

We do lots of things to minimise our carbon footprint but very close to our hearts is the humble but mighty bee! In fact we love bees so much that in 2021 we installed our very own beehives! Right now we are on a mission to plant wildflower meadows across the UK.

That should keep us busy (bees!? )

It's our carbon journey,
come and join us...

At It’s Interventional, we are conscious of the impact our business has on the environment and our local community. We may only be an SME, but being a leading supplier of medical devices, direct to healthcare professionals and the NHS throughout the UK and Ireland, we take our carbon impact seriously and will continue to align our ethos with the NHS road map to Net Zero, whilst being innovative with our own reduction plans through our ISO14001:2015 management system.
That means taking full responsibility for our impact on the environment and helping to solve some of the challenges facing our planet and the people we share it with.
It’s Interventional is committed to reducing our Carbon Footprint by January 2030 and achieving Net Zero by 2040.
As part of our progress to reach Net Zero, we have already implemented various carbon reduction incentives through the business and significant progress can already be seen through completed projects.

It's Interventional Green Team

As a company, we have appointed a dedicated green team to include employees across the company who are responsible for planning and managing our sustainability strategy. Continually challenging us to keep raising the bar on all social and environmental issues.

It’s Interventional is pleased to have completed the NHS Evergreen Sustainable Supplier Assessment.
The information reported through Evergreen is supporting us to understand our alignment with NHS sustainability priorities and set our own targets accordingly.
The Evergreen Assessment is one of several NHS initiatives designed to support its net zero and wider sustainability objectives. We are delighted to be supporting the NHS to achieve their net zero and sustainability ambitions, including those set out in the NHS Net Zero Supplier Roadmap.

We take care in what we do…

It started with a seed of an idea to help our planet….We began small with some wildflower planting in our office for our Bees (see below) and then we started talking about it with our customers…now we are taking wildflowers to the next level! We aim to plant square metres of wildflowers to help to offset our carbon footprint. If you have planted any of our seeds, we’d love to see your photos!

"We're taking wildflower planting to the next level."

Did we mention we love bees? Did you know, almost 90% of wild plants and 75% of leading global crops depend on animal pollination. That means that one out of every three mouthfuls of our food depends on pollinators. We think that makes bees pretty amazing! Did you know that these mighty pollinators are in decline? We're doing our bit to help the bee population and have our very own hives (find out more). Why not ask one of our team about our Bees!
