Our flagship marker clip, HydroMARK, is surrounded by a patented hydrogel carrier which provides up to 12 months of U/S visibility, even after neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
HydroMARK breast markers are titanium clips embedded in a patented hydrogel carrier. Once implanted in tissue the hydrogel carrier begins to absorb fluid and swells to 200% of its original size in 24 hours. The gel becomes 90% water to provide HydroMARK with its characteristic hypoechoic appearance on ultrasound that lasts up to 12 months and remains visible even after neoadjuvent chemotherapy.
“Up to 12 months of unmatched ultrasound visibility even in patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy”
HydroMARK is pre-loaded in a delivery system* for easy insertion
This graph1 shows the long-term visibility of HydroMARK, in comparison to 4 other commercially available breast markers.

The HydroMARK Mini offers the same benefits as the original HydroMARK but in a smaller profile marker.
The hydrogel carrier is approximately two thirds the size of the standard HydroMARK and housed in a smaller 18g delivery system making it an ideal choice for:
